Composition
Awara’s mattress is 100% organic and eco-friendly, using all-natural latex sourced from thoughtfully-farmed rubber trees. It contains no lead, formaldehyde, poly foams, or chemical retardants, is Rainforest Alliance-certified, and made with 100% natural wool.
The Awara consists of four layers:
- Plush Euro Top – made with soft and smooth New Zealand wool and organic cotton
- Natural Dunlop Latex – provides natural cooling comfort
- Contouring Support Coil Core – individual-wrapped coils that offer spinal support and pressure relief
- Soft Base Layer – this cotton-blend layer comes with handles for easy transport
Feel & Firmness
The latex mattress offers natural breathability and cooling properties from latex, keeping sleepers cool, while the coil base promotes healthy airflow. It is slightly bouncy, though it scores a 6.5 on the firmness scale, making is a medium-firm mattress – the most popular choice for all sleep positions.
