Composition

Casper mattresses are made with CertiPur-US certified foams and wrapped in unzippable, easy-to-wash mattress covers.

Casper’s most streamlined model is the Essential, which features three layers:

  • Top Layer – soft and lightly bouncy comfort
  • Memory Foam Transition Layer – to cradle the curves of your body
  • Base Layer – for durability and support

The brand’s original model, The Casper, consist of three to five layers:

  • Open-Cell Foam Top Layer – for breathability
  • Pressure-Relieving Transition Foam – transfers pressure away from zones of tension
  • Zoned Support Layer – provides shoulder and hip support
  • Gentle Spring Layer (Hybrid Only) – acts as a supportive and long-lasting base
  • Enhanced Edge Support (Hybrid Only) – to make getting in and out of bed easier

Casper’s high-end mattress, The Wave, consists of four to six layers:

  • Velvet-Soft Top Layer – gives it a royally comfortable feel
  • Perforated Foam Layer – maximizes airflow and releases heat
  • Pressure-Relieving Foam – releases pressure from high-tension areas
  • Targeted Gel Pods – invigorate the body and improve spinal alignment
  • Gentle Spring Layer (Hybrid Only)
  • Enhanced Edge Support (Hybrid Only)

Feel & Firmness

All three mattresses are medium to medium-firm and good for back, stomach, and side sleepers. Still, side sleepers might get more benefit from the Casper of the Wave.

Orders are made online via the Casper website and include free shipping and returns. Special financing is available to qualified shoppers.
