Moreover, the Helix company trusts the quality of their products, offering customers a 100-night risk-free trial period to decide if they want to keep the mattress or not. However, there’s a 30-day break-in period, within which you can’t return the product — this is to ensure your body fully adjusts to the new mattress to enable you to be sure of your decision to return.

If you’re still unable to adjust to the new mattress after the 30-day break-in period, you’re eligible to initiate a return process and request an exchange or refund. However, each customer or household can only return two mattresses.

Aside from the free trial period, Helix mattresses are covered with a 10-year limited warranty, while the Helix PLUS and Helix LUXE variants have a 15-year limited warranty. It’s important to note that removing the mattress cover or using the mattress against its intended purpose automatically voids the warranty claim.

Composition

Helix mattresses are designed in layers, with the standard mattress featuring four layers (12” tall), and the LUXE, six (14” tall). The four layers of the Helix STANDARD mattress include:

• The Memory Plus Foam: This is a distinct Helix blend that offers a soft feel and excellent pressure relief.
• The Helix Dynamic Foam: This transition layer offers soft cushioning and ergonomic support. Add to that its very low indentation force deflection (IFD) that suits your body type.
• The Wrapped Coils Layer: This layer contains hundreds of 8” individually wrapped coils that limit motion transfer and help support your body. Its reinforced perimeter also offers optimal edge support.
• The DuraDense Foam layer: The mattress’s bottom foam layer provides durability and base support to the whole mattress.

The Helix LUXE is distinct from the Helix STANDARD variant in that its wrapped coils layer offers 1,000+ individually wrapped coils with an in-built zoning technology. This zoning technology provides a softer feel to your shoulders and a firmer feel to your hips, promoting healthy spine alignment and zoned lumbar support. This translates to less pain while sleeping.

The Helix LUXE also has a premium quilted pillow top that offers extra foam cushioning for added comfort and a Gel Visco layer that provides pressure relief. Add to that a High-Grade Polyfoam layer with a low IFD that offers ergonomic contour and support while allowing for seamless bodyweight progression into the mattress.

The two variants feature a mattress cover. In the Helix STANDARD mattress, the cover features a soft-touch design to promote airflow. However, the Helix LUXE has an Ultra-Breathable Tencel Cover obtained from the Eucalyptus tree eco-friendly fibers, which offers enhanced breathability to boost airflow and keep you cool.

You can spot clean the Helix mattress, but you can’t remove the cover. Thankfully, you can easily purchase the Helix Waterproof Mattress Protector to prevent your mattress from dirt, spills, or stains.

Firmness & Feel

The different firmness options—soft, medium, and firm feel—ensure you derive maximum comfort from the Helix mattress. There are also various options for side sleepers, back and stomach sleepers, as well as couples with different sleeping positions.

The firmness of the mattresses is rated from one to ten. One is soft with a lot of plush cushioning and a sink. Those rated from two to seven increasingly become harder, and there is a decrease in the sink and plush contouring.

Aside from this mattress’s excellent weight distribution feature that ensures correct body alignment, its wrapped coils layer limits motion transfer and offers exceptional edge support. Also, the soft-touch design of its cover ensures you no longer have to worry about sweaty nights due to its enhanced airflow and breathability feature.
